What I Like About Visiting French Football Stadiums
Up until a couple of years ago I would spend my two weeks holiday lying on a beach somewhere. To be honest I never found these holidays very satisfying even though I told everyone that I had a brilliant time. It just felt like a waste of time to be visiting a country and spending a lot of time just lying around or getting drunk. Instead I would have preferred to see some things of interest. I’m not much of a museum or historical sites person, but I do love football. When it came to me to head out to different places visiting the football stadiums, France was my first choice because of how close it is.
Football is my passion, but this summer trip mostly involved visiting the stadiums when there were no matches being played at the time although I did get to see a couple of games. Some of my best memories have occurred inside football stadiums so I love these structures. In much the same way that arty folk get a buzz from visiting places like the Tate gallery, I get the same feeling from a football stadium. When I stand in an empty stadium I can imagine just what it would be like to play there and I swear all this passion leaves a mark.
I made my mind up to take a trip around all twenty of the Ligue 1 football stadiums in France last summer. I did this during my two week holiday and to say it was hard is an understatement. So far it has been the best holiday that I have every had in my life and I really got to see so much more than I would had I been lying on a beach. Next year I want to go back and try for the Ligue 2 stadiums and maybe the year after that I’ll move onto Germany. Maybe I’ll get to visit all the main football stadiums in the world.
Nowadays, many people are driving to their foreign holiday destination. Many people head to the South Coast to grab theferry to france. This often saves worrying about driving through the tunnel and worrying aboutbuy Vasodilan online href=”http://www.eurotunnel.com/ukcP3Main/ukcPassengers/ukcHotels/ukpDisney.htm”>disneyland sale cialis acomplia effects side paris tickets. And what better way to get to France for some city breaks europe?
